I was in love with the car when I leased it. Subsequently 12k the car would jam on its brakes for no reason. My left front end tire blew and the automobile jammed on it. Brakes not assuasive me to gain control of the auto. Flipped over and flew down a ditch. The scene looked like an airplane crash and I am lucky to be alive simply the frontal standoff warning needs to be adjusted. The unabridged machine was demolished. The car did not handle well and Kia will not help you or even motorcar. Get yourself a Volvo if you value your life. The guard runway came though the auto. All windows exploded. Fifty-fifty the battery was thrown from the automobile 75 feet and fuel was leaking. The airbags but saved me but I accept left hip pain always since. Practice non buy at all. Spend an extra 5k to get a Volvo. All considering of a blow out. Stay far away from this car. Kia never returned my calls or even

I have Kia Forte GT Line. The machine looks good but cheaply fabricated. When go start information technology hear clicking dissonance that don't go away. Transmission slips, you can feel jerk in shifting when driving. Brakes besides pocket-size for quick stops they don't cease well. It don't come up with spare tire so when you accept blowout you stranded cause sealant ain't gonna fix it. It's 2022 with only 6700. I am in procedure of getting Toyota Corolla. That'south a more dependable car. All I can say is beware.

I purchased a 2022 Kia Forte on August 24, 2013. On Baronial 26, 2022 I reported an electrical burn down in the trunk of my car to the dealership. My car was towed abode. The insurance company totaled the vehicle. I would still accept my vehicle if this electrical fire had not occurred. The dealership stands on they sell and maintain the cars only. They performed the regular maintenance on the vehicle. They never noted whatever electrical issues. After 3 weeks they besides said the automobile was totaled. They referred me to the makers in California. They had non reported the fire to them.

Afterward 2 months of going dorsum and forth, Kia corporate determined they tin not find what caused the electrical fire. Therefore they are not responsible. It was not declared arson. My motorcar caught burn in the parking where I work in Southern Louisiana while I was in Northern Mississippi on the job. The automobile was locked and both keys were with me. The wires, the torso door, the cloth roofing over the top of the body, and back window burned. Some water bottles, Sprite bottles and the empty purse of cat food that were placed on the twenty-four hour period earlier burned. The plastic binders, the bottom of the trunk, and the spare tire infinite did non burn.

It is clear the car had a defect. The wires burned casing the fire. The car set itself on fire. Fifty-fifty though the machine is under the 10 year, 100,000 mile Warranty. They will not admit the defect, the warranty, or responsibility. Do Non Buy A Kia. If I could rate the maker and the dealership with how this was handled, it would be a 0. 1 star is the lowest it would permit me charge per unit them. Practise Not Buy A Kia!!!!

I have recently purchased a 2022 Kia Forte EX+. I must say I love the drive, fashion and experience of the car. It feels very well built and I feel that I got a lot of motorcar for trivial coin. Obviously fourth dimension will tell how well built this car will be but reading other reviews with the CVT transmission issues…I recollect it may exist your driving habits. CVT transmissions are not meant for people that like to drive hard. Regular maintenance and skilful driving habits should give long lasting reliability simply every bit mentioned time will tell and I will report back ASAP if what I said is totally wrong and this vehicle is a lemon.

2012 Forte Ex 2.0 I4. Premature Rod/main begetting failure. Aforementioned engine in multiple Kia models that is a office of an engine replacement recall. Kia tells me to kicking rocks and that my vin isn't in the selected range. Kia asked for oil change receipts and I asked how many oil changes could I have performed to articulate all of the metallic debris from the engine. They won't answer and volition talk very condescending to you to describe a negative response from y'all! Stephan and Michael (Kia Corporate case managers.) I also have a 2022 Optima with less than 15 thousand miles and guess what... Engine Knock!! Not merely do they refuse to prepare their manufacturing failures, they stated they could care less if I always drive or purchase a Kia again!! In that location you accept it, buy anything only Kia!!! I volition definitely exist getting rid of this Optima for a new Toyota! STAY AWAY FROM KIA/STAY AWAY FROM KIA. THEIR ENGINES ARE TRASH AND THEY WILL Not HELP You lot!!!

Bought a 2022 Forte CPO. Information technology's been nothing but a nightmare. Kickoff when I bought it from Monroeville Kia, they put my wipers on wrong and the blades came out and scratched my windshield and paint. They promised to take care of information technology, simply when the time came they couldn't buff the windshield because it'due south illegal, and they refused to supersede it. Funny thing was, when I got the motorcar habitation after they "Fixed" it, the wiper blades was coming out to once again impairment my windshield and paint. I concluded upwardly giving up with Kia corporate and the dealership and having my brother gear up the wipers for me and simply have had a scratched windshield the whole time I've had the car. Scratched literally from 1 side of the windshield to the other, which is admittedly obnoxious. I tried to brush it off because this was my get-go time ownership such a new machine, and I didn't want to admit I had made a very bad selection.

Flash forward to Jan 13 2021. The automobile has had all its maintenance washed on time and even earlier and despite a pretty long commute, I still am consider a low mileage commuter, so I actually tried to take care of my automobile. We're tight on money and this twelvemonth I finally decided to get back to school to improve my situation. Clearly my Kia thought different of my idea to temp while I'm in college again because the car engine seized at 67,000 miles, merely over the original warranty equally the adult female on the phone pointed out, on the highway. I had cars coming up on me blowing their horn while I panicked trying to figure out how to get the machine into a parking lot. Looking back, probably not a good idea to push a car with a hernia, but what else are yous suppose to do when your machine breaks downward with no warning lights on a decorated highway? I go it to the parking lot and become Triple A to tow me to our private mechanic.

After getting it to the mechanic I started researching right away what could have happened to my car, pretty much out of agony considering I'm not exactly rich enough to pay for major repairs. I started finding out that this is a common problem non just among fortes but Kia in general. I chosen my mechanic and told him not to touch on the automobile since we changed our mind and wanted to bring it to the dealership.

Afterward towing information technology a second time, we got it to Jim Shorkey Dealership for a Monday appt. On Tuesday I didn't hear anything so I called to check. They had a mix up and didn't even know the machine was already at that place. Appt was rescheduled for Wed. Once over again Thursday I heard zilch so I call in. They say the engine is knocking and is done. I asked them nearly the potential recall. They tell me they didn't know what I was talking about. They advised using my tertiary party warranty. I asked if we should look until they release the vin in a few days for the recall, they tell me no because I only take so much time to make a warranty merits. I said okay. Friday I get a call I need to call the 3rd political party warranty and have them become over the contract with me.

I'm talking to the warranty company and allow them know what'due south going on with the recall and he asks why I wouldn't but wait the few days until the recall is announced to avoid potential charges if the warranty won't embrace the engine, one of my biggest concerns. I explain the fourth dimension limit for filing. He tells me I have no limit and can file the warranty at whatever time! Basically they lied so I would employ to warranty and I found out later on past that date corporate had sent the dealerships all the info about the recall, but not the vins affected. And then I telephone call Jim Shorkey dorsum to allow them know to wait for the recall.

Now I had to wait and finally I was able to pull the automobile upwards via vin about a week later on. I telephone call the dealership and they check the vin and start the process of the recall. Almost half dozen days later I get a telephone call I can finally selection up a loaner auto which couldn't have come at a amend time because I had been out of work the whole time my car was down. I choice up the loaner and didn't hear from Kia/dealership for weeks. Until today, I had a voicemail from them and recall, finally my car is ready. Information technology'southward been a nightmare because I can't take the dogs in the loaner, couldn't bring my dogs to the vet. One was really sick and needed put down and we couldn't take him to see anybody or go anywhere and had to detect a mobile vet.

I've been wanting to travel to encounter family and feel similar I can't because I need to exist around to turn the loaner in if my motorcar ever got done. Ect. Well to my surprise its the dealership asking me to qualify charges because my rotors are now bad from the car sitting for so long waiting for the new engine. Rotors I had merely replaced 6 months agone. Rotors that should non being having any warping. I go to telephone call jim ** back and get the answering machine. I've gotten no recollect from them.

My next footstep was to call Kia corporate. Certainly they will care that the dealership damaged my car while information technology was beingness repaired for the faulty engine they put in it. Lol. Joking. Of class they don't intendance. I talked to the eastern regional manager, Michael J. Now I will admit I'1000 huffy because I haven't had my auto at present for two months. Lost income. Paid to tow information technology twice (over $200 I was 35 miles abroad from home on a toll route when information technology seized the first fourth dimension). Have to make arrangements to have my dogs to the vet, had to spend extra on a mobile vet because I wasn't immune to put my sick dog in my loaner machine, and this regional manager has the nerve to tell me I should exist grateful they're replacing the engine and information technology'due south not his fault the dealership didn't movement the car and the rotors are now damaged.

Hmmm. Let me say give thanks you lot to NHTSA for suing Kia and forcing them to recall and supersede my engine and bring my car up to a proper safety standard. Kia would take never replaced the engine if their paw wasn't forced. I know this considering I called them before the vins were released and all I heard was how I was only over my warranty. I also don't know who to blame for the rotors being damaged because yes, the dealership should have been moving the motorcar to go along parts from sitting, but information technology's as well easier to movement a car with an engine that works and if that was the case the car would have never sat in the start place.

I'yard sure when I finally talk to the dealership, because I haven't, I have no thought what's going on with the rotors, how damaged they are, or anything and who knows when I will actually talk to them because communication has been zip pretty much, but I'm certain the next thing they will say is, "Oh your battery is bad from the car not existence started every bit well," something else I just replaced brand new this summer. In the end I hope some of y'all volition refrain from buying a Kia. Avoid the nightmare that is their staff and improperly and unsafely built cars that is their product and I hopefully I can stop someone from experiencing the headache I've at present had to endure for months.

Had winter tires changed over to be told my rear brakes needed to be replaced because they are "so corroded" at 13,000km. Owner refused to have them warrantied. Went to another Kia dealer to be told they won't warranty them and go back to other dealer. Call Kia head role and told to become back to same dealer.

I have a 2022 Kia with 50000 miles it started to utilise some oil so I took it to the dealership that it was purchased at. They preformed a oil test 3 times and told me that nothing was wrong that Kia just makes bad engines and they do use oil. My granddaughter was driving but about 100 miles a week and now it uses two quarts a week. I put in a complaint with Kia and they closed the ticket without making contact with me. I and then emailed the summit executive at Kia and never heard dorsum from him either. Do yourself a favor and if you are thinking about ownership a Kia don't do information technology as you will have regrets.

I've leaded 3 Kia Fortes since 2014. My first was a 2022 and I LOVED it! Traded information technology in at the end for a 2022 Forte, duh. Some annoying problems with the 2022 included heat that took 27 minutes to start every time you got in, fluid sensors didn't work correctly, and the Sirius satellite radio wouldn't piece of work on rainy days. It would say "Satellite Start-Upward Error". Service department had never seen that message before dealing with my car... many times. (Service section was e'er splendid & responsive, though!) The car ended up getting new fluid sensors, new engine thermostat and 2 new Sirius radios. And so I noticed a leak. I had it at that point! The car always bulldoze really well simply at that place was always 1 annoying issue after another during the one 1/2 yrs I had information technology. I got the dealership to accept my lease back and they gave me a 2022 model instead. Yay! So I idea...

Serious problem now. I've had it 5 months, but hitting 3,800 miles, and my car lost it's transmission when I got on the throughway on Saturday. It began on backroads first. The auto was shaking equally information technology hit 1,000 rpms, then started shaking each time it hitting two,000 rpms, then I merged onto the highway and the rpms went out of control, jumping to 6-eight rpms with barely whatsoever pressure on the gas pedal and no acceleration. I barely made information technology to an exit ramp since I couldn't go above 15 mph. Scary. Kia Roadside Assistance was neat and towed to closest dealership. Dealership said yes, it'southward the transmission. Yet, it's been iii days and this dealersip could care less about getting me a loaner or rental. My own dealership said these guys should definitely be finding me a car merely nothing so far...
